Mechanical Characteristics
Item Solderability Soldering Heat Resistance Test Condition Lead terminals are immersed in solder bath of 270 5C for 3 1 seconds. The product should follow the reflow temperature cuve to test its reflow thermo stability. For 10 seconds, the force of 9.8N (1.0kg) is applied to each terminal in axial direction. The buzzer shall be measured after applying a vibration amplitude of 1.5 mm with 10 to 55 Hz band of vibration frequency to each of the 3 perpendicular directions for 2 hours. The part will be dropped from a height of 75 cm onto a 40 mm thick wooden board 3 times in 3 axes (X, Y, Z) for a total of 9 drops. Evaluation Standard 95% of the surface of the lead pads must be wet with solder. No interference in operation. No damage or cutting off. After the test, the part shall meet specifications without any damage to the appearance or performance. The SPL should be within 10 dBA of the initial SPL measurement.

Item Operating (Life Test) Test Condition 1. Continuous life test: The part will be subjected to 72 at +55C with 12.0 V dc applied. 2. Intermittent life test: A duty cycle of 1 minute on, 1 minute off, a minimum of 10,000 times at room temp (+25 10C) with 12.0 V dc applied. Evaluation Standard After the test, the part shall meet specifications without any damage to the appearance or performance. After 4 hours at 25C, the SPL should be within 10 dBA of the initial SPL measurement.
